I’ve never tried Indian food before — what should I expect?Indian cuisine is rich, diverse, and incredibly flavorful — but it can also be quite spicy, especially for first-timers! It’s typically a vegetarian and carb-heavy diet, with lentils, rice, and flatbreads being staples. Meat dishes do exist but are less common, especially during traditional celebrations. We recommend easing into it during your first few days — try milder dishes, ask for “less spicy” when ordering, and don’t be too brave right away if your stomach isn’t used to it. 😊 Most hotels and restaurants also offer international options, so you’ll definitely find something familiar and comforting when needed.
